Twenty years in Azeroth. Eleven expansions. One world still growing. The greatest MMORPG ever made.

Azeroth has been here for twenty-two years. It has survived the Burning Legion, the Lich King, Deathwing, the Void, the Jailer and the deep caverns beneath the earth itself. It is still here. So are the people who play it.

World of Warcraft is the MMORPG that defined the genre for a generation and has never fully relinquished its position. The game is set in the Warcraft fantasy universe across a planet of extraordinary geographical variety: ancient human kingdoms, troll jungles, undead wastelands, tauren plains, goblin trade cities, dragon isles. Players create a character from one of fourteen races and thirteen classes, join the Alliance or the Horde, and advance through an open world of questing, dungeons, raids, professions and player-vs-player combat that has been continuously expanding since 2004. The current expansion, Midnight, brings the Worldsoul Saga to Quel'Thalas — the elven homeland — and introduces Player Housing, a new Devourer Demon Hunter spec and four new zones. The War Within's underground Earthen setting preceded it. The Last Titan concludes the trilogy. WoW Classic runs in parallel, offering period-accurate recreations of the original game and each expansion through Mists of Pandaria Classic. All expansions through Dragonflight are included in the base subscription. A monthly subscription provides access to all current content.
