A living world shaped by weather and time of day. Two weapons, infinite builds. Fight for Solisium with your guild.

The world of Solisium is shaped by forces beyond individual heroes: weather changes the landscape, time of day determines what events spawn, and guilds fight for control of castles and territories in wars that reshape the political map. In this world, no class is fixed. Power comes from the weapons in your hands.

Throne and Liberty is a free-to-play MMORPG developed by NCSoft's internal FirstSpark Games studio, originally conceived over a decade ago as Lineage Eternal before being reworked and renamed through several iterations. The game's central design ideas distinguish it within the genre: a classless combat system in which the player equips two weapon types simultaneously — sword and shield, staff and wand, daggers, crossbow, greatsword, bow — and the combination determines all available skills and the character's role. The dynamic world responds to weather and time of day, with certain bosses, events and dungeons only available under specific conditions. Players can morph into animals to traverse the environment — swimming as a fish, soaring as a hawk, sprinting as a wolf. Sieges and open-world guild PvP are the primary endgame draw, with hundreds of players competing for control of castle territories. Cross-platform play connects PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series players. The game launched as a strong Steam success, reaching over 300,000 concurrent players, before settling into a smaller active playerbase amid ongoing community concerns about monetisation.

Key Features: • Classless weapon-based combat: two weapons equipped simultaneously, skills drawn from both • Dynamic world: weather and time of day change events, bosses and dungeon availability • Morph into animals to traverse the world: hawk (flight), fish (swimming), wolf (sprint) • Large-scale guild castle sieges - open-world PvP territory control
