Blue versus Red across open battlefields. Command AI squads, pilot vehicles and take every flag. No rules, just war.

Blue team versus Red team. Open battlefields. Flags to capture. Tanks, helicopters, boats and guns. AI teammates and enemies with no hard limit on their count. Ragdoll physics that respond to every impact. The game started as an experiment with AI and ragdolls, and it has been growing ever since.

Ravenfield is a singleplayer low-poly battlefield game in which the player fights alongside AI Blue allies against AI Red enemies across a growing roster of maps and game modes. The core loop is flag capture: teams fight to hold points on the map while the opposing side's score counts down. The player can fight on foot, pilot aircraft, drive tanks, operate artillery and command AI squadmates via a battle plan system that assigns capture priorities. The Steam Workshop hosts thousands of community-created weapons, vehicles, maps, factions and total conversion mods — a Halo mod, a Star Wars mod, a World War II mod — that have substantially extended the game's life. A built-in level editor allows custom map creation. Developed entirely by one person, Johan Hassel (SteelRaven7), who has maintained an Early Access development cycle of regular content updates since 2017 with the price locked for life. As of EA34, a Conquest campaign mode is in progress. The developer has been consistently transparent on Discord about development status.
