A board game where your friends become your enemies. Collect stars, hurl absurd weapons and see who survives the night.

Up to eight players take their turns on a board game, collecting stars and items. At the end of each round, everyone competes in a minigame. The player with the most stars at the end wins — unless someone spends the last three turns systematically destroying everyone else's chances with a Remote Controlled Eggplant.

Pummel Party is an indie digital board party game in the tradition of Mario Party, but designed specifically for online play with up to eight players and a level of chaos that makes friendship a liability. Players move around procedurally arranged boards, collecting stars from a central space and items from chests distributed around the board. Items range from the mundane to the absurd: bombs, portals that swap players' positions, weapons that knock rivals backwards, and objects with effects so situational that the timing of their use becomes its own comedy. After each set of turns, a minigame runs with all players competing simultaneously in mini-arenas for bonus coins. Multiple board maps and dozens of minigames are included, with Steam Workshop supporting community-created boards and minigames. A built-in level editor allows players to create their own content without Workshop. Full bot support means any number of human players can fill out a game to eight. Actively updated since 2018.
