Sam returns. Australia waits. A new world fractured by Timefall — connect it, or watch it fall apart.

Eleven months after the events of the first game, Sam Porter Bridges is back — and the world needs him again. A new frontier: Australia, vast and sun-scorched, fractured by Timefall and cut off from the Chiral Network. Sam and the crew of DRAWBRIDGE set out to reconnect it. What follows is a journey through open post-apocalyptic landscapes where natural disasters — earthquakes, sandstorms, forest fires — are as dangerous as the BTs and human enemies in the way.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a standalone sequel that deepens and evolves the original's ideas. The Social Strand System returns — structures you build and roads you repair subtly shape other players' worlds, and theirs shape yours, without direct multiplayer. Combat is expanded with more weapons, tools and vehicles. The cast is extraordinary: Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker, Elle Fanning, and filmmakers George Miller and Guillermo del Toro. The soundtrack by Woodkid and Ludvig Forssell is procedural — music dynamically adapts to the journey in real time.

Key Features: • Vast open world across Mexico and Australia — traverse on foot, vehicle and zipline • Social Strand System — your deliveries and builds quietly shape other players' worlds • Natural disasters: earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires alongside BTs and enemies • Procedural Woodkid soundtrack — music adapts dynamically to your journey in real time • Standalone sequel — playable without DS1 · ultrawide 21:9/32:9 · DLSS/FSR/XeSS/PICO
