Seattle is locked down. Conduits are hunted. Delsin absorbs any power he touches — and the DUP wants him dead.

Seven years after the events of inFAMOUS 2, Conduits — humans with supernatural abilities — are hunted and detained by the Department of Unified Protection. Delsin Rowe is a young graffiti artist and rebel from the Akomish tribe outside Seattle who discovers he has a rare and terrifying gift: the ability to absorb the powers of other Conduits simply by touch. When a DUP prisoner transport crashes near his reservation and Delsin makes contact with the escapees, he gains his first power and draws the attention of DUP commander Brooke Augustine — who brutalises his tribe in retaliation.

Delsin heads to Seattle to find more Conduits and absorb enough power to stop Augustine and free his people. The game's defining mechanic is power absorption — each new Conduit Delsin encounters adds a completely different superpower to his arsenal: smoke, neon, video and concrete, each with unique traversal, combat and stealth applications. Seattle is an open world of districts to liberate, DUP surveillance to dismantle and civilians to protect or exploit. A full good/evil karma system with branching consequences shapes both the story and Delsin's visual appearance. One of the strongest PS4 launch-era showcases — still stunning over a decade later.
